README

This palette conatins several prototypes for useful buttons. The
reason for creating the palette was to provide a collection of
different buttons that are commonly used and put them all in one place.

There is not a built version of the palette here
for now. It builds just fine for me, though, so
you shouldn't have any troubles with it, either.

This object and palette are authored and maintained by Don Yacktman and
are included in the MiscKit by his permission. Contact him by e-mail at Don_Yacktman@byu.edu if you have any requests or suggestions.

Note that there is a "ManyOrOneMatrix" class proposed and here in
skeleton form. This class will most likely eventually turn up on
it's own palette. For now it is unimplemented. If anyone would
actually like to create it, be my guest. For functionality, it is
to be modelled after the many-or-one button described in _Tog_On_
Interface_ by Bruce Tognazzini and the matrix seen in the NeXT
IconBuilder application, allowing both modes of operation.

These are the contents of the former NiCE NeXT User Group NeXTSTEP/OpenStep software archive, currently hosted by Netfuture.ch.
