README

INTRODUCTION
What is PPPMeter? It's a VAA (Value Adding
Application) for the cool public domain PPP (ppp2.x).

PPPMeter simplifies just a few basic activities - bringing
the link up, taking it down, viewing the log and monitoring
your connection time usage. It has a few other minor
features as well but they will show up as you go along.

INSTALLATION
Read the app's PPPMeter Setup help section.

SOURCE NOTES
There is some ok code in here... some AppKit Object class autoreleasing that is
Foundation compatible (DOES NOT REQUIRE Foundation Kit). A nice SIMPLE string
class. A mail API object... other neat stuff. Go wild.

New in V1.5 (Aug 27 1995):
	- supports multiple connections
	- handles when a the connection was brought
up prior to the app starting - sort of...
	- Will bring up a default connection on launch.
