STATUS of the project :

1- Webster Library; in progress.
   The library will allow programatic access to the dictionary and the
   thesaurus.

2- A simple command line interface; done.
   This interface will use directly the library above. It will work
   from the commandline.

3- A server responding to local or remote queries; in progress
   This server will allow the use of the various existing tools, as
   xwebster, and webster.el under emacs.

4- A NeXT service for using the remote server; not started.
   It will use the server above to define words. This service may be
   used on workstations without local dictionaries.

5- A NeXT application using the remote server; maybe...
   It will use the server above to define words. This service may be 
   used on workstations without local dictionaries.

6- A cgi interface for www; thinking about it...
   It requires to make a big output module to write the definitions in html.
