You will find here different clients for the Webster. They are contained in the following directories : - CommandLine is the basic client. It works one a machine having the dictionaries on its own hard discs. It may query the dictionary, the thesaurus, by name, reference or complete words. - Emacs-18 is an extension of emacs that will query via TCP/IP a Webster server to define words. - Emacs-19 is the same client modified for the latest emacs. - Interactive is a client that will (from the shell commandline) query a server and define words. It has nice features to dynamically complete words. - XWebster is a X/Motif client. I did not compile it, because I do not have X windows ! Note: I only wrote the first client. The other ones are contributed from the net. Problems specific to the interaction between my server and the clients should be directed to me. Problems specific to the client should be directed to the net, the author, and maybe me. I may not be able to solve client-specific issues.
