ncurses.4.1.README June 1997 This archive contains an Installer.app package for ncurses.4.1, a new curses library. I compiled it non-posix, for use with ncftp, primarily. It includes only the ncurses library, not the terminfo terminal definitions. OVERVIEW The ncurses (new curses) library is a freeware emulation of System V Release 4.0 curses. It uses terminfo format, supports pads and color and multiple highlights and forms characters and function-key mapping, and has all the other SYSV-curses enhancements over BSD curses.
