This is the README for gform.1.1.NIHS.bs.gnutar.gz [Download] [Browse] [Up]
This is the latest, as of Sun Feb 11, version of gform compiled quad-fat for NeXTSTEP. gform is a cgi-bin program that takes input from HTML forms. See the documentation in the distribution for more information. I have only tested it with m68k and in no way take responsibility for using it. It compiled with errors concerning making pointers from integers, a very common error. Also, I compiled with the -posix flag as some of the source uses posix code. This is a cgi program that can be used to send mail from your site. Please remember this when and if you use its functions. There is no real "secure" way to use a form to directly send mail to specific users. I suggest that you keep logs on your sendmail daemon if you use this. If you have any problems with the program and its functions please contact the maintainers of gform. If you have any questions about this compilation please contact me and not the maintainers of gform as they have nothing to do with this compilation. I have included the source and assorted files in order for people to see the configuration variables used. If you would like a different configuration compiled get in touch with me and I'll see what I can do. --- Torrey McMahon American University School of Communication System Administrator, WebMaster, and Security Consultant NeXT, MIME, and ASCII PGP and CyptorBundle tm8025a@american.edu http://www.soc.american.edu/~tm8025a
