				                  Supercite.ts

A TickleService that allows you to quote people in a civilized
manner.

Supercite.ts is a service (listed under 'Services') and works with
all NEXTSTEP applications. It requires that you have TickleServices
by Scott Hess installed.

Supercite is inspired by the Supercite package for emacs.

What it does
============

With this little service you can cite people like this:

>>>>> "Jacob" == Jacob Nielsen <jacob@dannug.dk> writes:

Jacob> What a great app. Thanks!

instead of:

Jacob Nielsen <jacob@dannug.dk> writes:

> What a great app. Thanks!

Why is that usefull?
====================

Have you ever seen a discussion containing things like: >>>>
NEXTSTEP is the best computing enviroment on earth! >>>> It keeps
being usefull :-) >>> I second that!

I find it difficult to remember that the '>>>>' is me, the '>>>'
is Peter, '>>' is ... Using Supercite, this becomes:

Jacob> NEXTSTEP is the best computing enviroment on earth! It
Jacob> keeps being usefull :-)
Peter>  I second that!

The menu entries
================

Cite... When you have selected some text and press this menu
item, Supercite will prompt you for a citation name and use the
name to cite the selected text.

Insert Name... Select a text block that contains an email address
and press the menu item. Supercite will then prompt you for the
citation name to use (using the persons first name as a guess) and
produce the Supercite header (e.g '>>>>> "Jacob" == Jacob Nielsen
<jacob@dannug.dk>'). Note that the selected text block is replaced
by the Supercite header.

Unquote This menu entry removes quotes from the selected text.
It will even remove citations made by Supercite...
	A word of cation: do not use this on text that's not quoted
	and that contains a '>' -- the line with the '>' will be
	removed !

Unquote and Cite... Like pressing Unquote and then Cite...

Reformat Lines This will reformat the selected lines so they are
around 65 characters long.
