INSTALLATION: These games are meant to be placed in /usr/games and owned by a user called 'games'. Some of the programs are suid-games so that they may modify the score and level files. The man pages (*.6) can be placed in /usr/man/man6. To install the programs, create a new user called 'games'. As root: prompt# cd /usr prompt# zcat games.tar.Z | tar -xvf - prompt# chown -R games games prompt# mv games/*.6 /usr/man/man6 I actually have the files in /usr/local/games, with /usr/games as a link to this directory. SOURCE CODE: All of the source code was taken off of the network and is freely available. I can supply source code if anyone wants it. DESCRIPTION: hack -- nethack 3.0i, patchlevel 9. An extensive text graphics adventure game. moria -- umoria 5.3. Another text graphics adventure game.
