You may already found that the _compiled_ StartupSound from StartupSound.tar.Z may not work on your system, this is because it is compiled under the Kanji OS 2.1J which use a different shared library. What you need to do is to recompile the whole thing under your system and it should works. If you don't have the extended NeXTstep, which means that you cannot compile any NeXTstep program, you may download the file StartupSound.Z, which is okay to run on any 2.x system. - Edwin edwintam@chkgw.attmail.com
