Welcome to release 2.0 of ConsoleTool. ConsoleTool is a program to help you monitoring the console log-file. Most people use the NeXT built-in utility (Console), but it has to stay on the screen to be effective. This utility will pop-up when there is any new output and thereby save screen space. It also has the possibility to make a beep to get your attention. ConsoleTool also includes a filter which lets you filter uninteresting messages away. This is particularly useful when certain applications is producing the same messages again and again. (debug messages etc.) Installation: ============= Just place the application in /LocalApps or ~/Apps, put it on the dock, and make it auto-launch.
