Almost all of your application configuration settings and information is kept in something called the "Defaults Database". Most of the time a user uses Preferences panels and other controlls to chang ethe values in this configuration database. But, there are times when a user would like to change a value manually. FSCurrentDefaults is a preferences module that will let your see and edit all your defaults settings.

Installation:
Put FSCurrentDefualts.preferences in ~/Library/Preferences. That is Library/Preferences in your home directory. Preferences will automatically include this module the next time it is run.

Usage:
Preferences will fill the spreadsheet view with all of your default settings. You may change any of the settings by editing the text in the row. The change is written to the defaults database when the editing is finished or the current cell changes to a different location.

You may delete a defaults setting by highlighting any cell in the default's row, followed by a cut operation. There is no paste operation to bring it back.

Release Notes version 2:
Version 1 did not sort the defaults database. This has been fixed in version 2.

WARNING:
Editing the defaults settings for your applications without knowing what you are doing can be very damaging to your mental health. Applications can be rendered unusable by a single keystroke.
