This is the README for defJam.1.1.NI.b.tar.gz [Download] [Browse] [Up]
defJam 1.1 This application is used to directly manipulate your defaults database. Ordinarily, you deal with the defaults database through each application's preferences panel. Advanced users also use the dread and dwrite tools ... but these can only be used from Terminal. defJam replaces all that with a common browser. You can add or update existing defaults, remove single defaults or all defaults for a given owner. defJam also features context sensitive help. If you use defJam, just send me a note at hship@sinistar.cac.stratus.com. Changes in 1.1 Installed it properly (I was accidentally compressing with gzip, not compress). Made the value field (an others) scrollable, for long default values.
