	Wages Version 3.00

The history behind this program is probably more interesting than the program itself. Wages was created with the consultant in mind. Whenever I was approached by a client to consider a contract, we would evaluate the needs and wants they would desire. Ultimately after all the technical details were ironed out, the subject of rate would come up.
I would usually have a standard rate in mind and bid on the length and term of the contract. What I really wanted was some relatively simple way to be able to see what my rate would get me as well as being able to easily figure the Witholding Taxes for my Payroll. I would spend at least an hour between paper and calculator "What-if" ing on expenses vs income. Thus the birth of Wages.
Wages was first very crudely written in "BASICA" on an IBM-PC. That was the only language on the machine on my desk at the time. The program was VERY crude. (90% hard coded). The first respectable version came while experimenting with a package called "Turbo Vision" by Borland International; as part of their "Turbo Pascal" Version 6.0. I wanted to learn the Turbo Vision Package as well as provide a better tool for my use. Fellow consultants saw the program and wanted a copy.
I was then asked if I could port the application to the new OS/2 2.0 from IBM. I did and that version is now in its second release.
Well guess what ! When I purchased a NeXT I figured, what else would be my first attempt at a start from scratch App ??? Wages ... Now it is in its third release. Read below for What's new for Version 3.00.
