Romano 90-65 208th Street Queens Village, New York 11428-1066 This Program is a Utility! tarZan gives you access to the tar,compress, and uncompress Unix programs without having to invoke a shell! It makes untaring, uncompressing etc.. very easy to do! (HopeFully) This Appliction hasn't been used recently! It's a very new program! But in the near future it will be used by many students and faculty to untar and uncompress files that have been downloaded from archive sites. To install this program: At a shell prompt type--> install -c -s -m 755 tarZan <the directory where you want tarZan to reside> NOTE: This is a very new program so it has a few bugs... If you have any questions let me know!! Check out the Info panel in the program, it explains the program.
