Archive.nib
The Archive app will show .Z, .tar, .lha, .lzh, and .zip file icons, and will launch when one of these is double-clicked from the workspace, uncompressing/unarchiving them. The "Help" from within the app has more details. To install, just copy the binary to /NextApps or /LocalApps or ~/Local or anywhere in your path, then logout/login. Only the binary is required, all other files can be removed if desired. Warning: I had modified the Makefile and .iconheader files to allow for more than 3 file extensions for this app. I asked comp.sys.next.programming for a more convenient way of doing this, and got no response. So if you save from the interface builder, you may need to modify these files. The app assumes that the unix utilities compress, lha, tar, zip, and unzip exist. If any of these are missing, it will not interfere with the programs ability to archive/extract from the other formats. This is version 0.7, and will only extract from archives.
