I supply this binary version of MakeIndex v2.9 and a detex, compiled for NeXT
Release 2.1 for using it with TeXmenu. I will not give any support, don't mail
me on any MakeIndex or detex problems.
You'll find the following files folder MakeIndex:
ACK, CONTRIB, COPYING: As obtained with the sources of makeindex.
Read COPYING before using or supplying
makeindex. If you're interested in makeindex's
sources: Available via anonymous ftp from
ymir.claremont.edu (134.173.4.23, VMS) in the
directory [.tex.utilities.makeindex].
makeindex: Executeable MakeIndex. Place it in
/usr/local/bin or wherever you like it.
makeindex.l: Manualpage. Enter
# installman makeindex.l
as root to install it properly.
makeindex.tex: Documentation on MakeIndex.
And in folder deTeX:
detex: Executeable detex. Place it in
/usr/local/bin or wherever you like it.
detex.n: Manualpage.
Versions 2.1 of TeXmenu and above (if ever) will support makeindex.
