TeXfig

TeXfig allows you to create eps images much like TeXice, the only difference is that it allows you to save the formulas to recall later. This makes it a little easier to markup drawings with formulas that change alot or that you need in other apps (and don't want to start the app with the eps figures in it).

Granted you can do this with TeXice and an RTF document but this interface makes it a little nicer.

You must include the math begin characters if you want math. Here are some examples:

$$e_i$$

Observation\\
Point $P$

\[ \cos(\theta)=9\]

As you can see, TeXfig uses LaTeX by default.

Since this is a 0.1 release, don't expect much error checking (little if any) and don't expect much flexibility (no Preferences panel).

If you want to change the way TeXfig runs TeX you must change the program and recompile.

If you make any decent changes, send them to me and I will add you to a list of contributors.

Things to do:

1) Finish preferences
2) allow each TeX text to have it's own TeX wrapper
3) fix numerous first responder bugs
4) add live link capability
