NSF Fellowship The first challenge of the year is the NSF Graduate Fellowship, a 3 year portable with a <10% accept rate. I have no high hopes for this application, just a notion that it's worth doing as a checkpoint in the process. Later, I'll reuse this material for the DOD NDSEG (< 5%; why am I bothering?) They have three essay-like pieces in place of the usual one.
