RTF Explorer
by Klaus Hofrichter, Dec 1992

RTF Explorer is a little, more or less interesting application. It can be used to learn more about the RTF notation used by AppKit's Text object.

There are two text displays in the main window, one for displaying RTF formated text and one for displaying the ASCII content of the RTF text object. Here is what you can do:
X Paste or edit RTF in the RTF display
X Press the RTF->ASCII button to take a look at the ASCII notation
X Edit the ASCII notation
X Press the ASCII->RTF button and let the RTF Object interpret your RTF code

Interesting things:
X Use Rulers and Fonts
X Paste RTF with links (for example, copy/paste the Help-Text from another app)
X Try some RTF with images
X Write bad RTF code in the ASCII display and see the RTFExplorer crashing...
Some things are not running as they should do (in my opinion). Images are not displayed correctly. If you have some hint's please let me know.

Have fun with the app. The source code is pretty simple due to the well designed AppKit. If there are bugs or possible extensions, please let me know. There may be (or may be not) a new Version in 1993. (BTW: Merry XMas and a happy NeXT year to all the netters out there!)
