SoftPC 2.05 for NeXT - ADB Keyboard Patch Disk To install: Insert floppy disk and double click on the icon SoftPC_adb.pkg. This will launch the NeXT Installer. Select the SoftPC.app folder to install the patch into. This defaults to /LocalApps/SoftPC.app but you may have over-ridden this location. That's all! SoftPC will now work on both ADB and non-ADB keyboards. Limitations There are two limitations using SoftPC 2.05 with the ADB keyboard. 1. The Caps lock does not work with SoftPC. If you switch Caps Lock on, the Caps Lock status indicator will appear at the bottom of the SoftPC window but Caps Lock will not be invoked. You will have to use the Shift key to use capital letters. 2. The SoftPC "Function Keys" (i.e. <Command> <1..9,0,-,=) only work if they are unmodified (i.e. not used at the same time as Alt, Shift, or control). If they need to be used modified, then the SoftPC Keys menu items must be used with the appropriate modifier keys.
