NXCam requires NEXTSTEP 3.3 or higher, a bi-directional capable parallel port, and a monochrome Connectix QuickCam. NXCam.app Installation Installation of NXCam consists of two parts: Installing the Bidirectional Parallel Port driver and setting the Parallel Port to EPP mode from your BIOS. As the root user, double click on the BidiParallel.config driver located in this directory. This will launch Configure.app and install the driver into your machine. Shut down your machine, and change the BIOS settings for your parallel port to EPP mode. When you log back in, NXCam.app will be ready to use.
