Welcome to Spinne.
Spinne is program to check for distortions into projections plots
of multivariate (multidimensional) data.
Projection methods like principal component analysis (PCA), nonlinear mapping (NLM) or
self-organizing map (SOM) are valuable algorithms to visualize high multidimensional data on a
two-dimensional plane. Unfortunately, the reduction of the dimensionality involves distortions. To
graphically localize the distortions of the projected data, spinne superimposed colored graphs
onto the 2D plots.
Spinne is freely available for non-commercial applications.
