NXPlotNd - 1.0 (release version)
--------------------------------

TERMS OF USE
This program is being distributed as voluntary shareware. If you use the program regularly I ask that you make a nominal $25 (for educational) or $50 (for commercial) contribution for each machine or user (either way). Please mail payments to my current snail mail address which can be obtained from:
'finger stevel@alumni.caltech.edu'
or on my home page at: 'http://alumni.caltech.edu/~stevel'.

This program represents over 40,000 lines of very dense C code and I have devoted nearly a year of weekends/nights to bring it to its current state. Consider this a token payment in appreciation of my efforts. Those who have written a significant piece of freeware may consider themselves exempt. If you have written a piece of shareware I will accept a license to use your software in lieu of a cash payment.

In addition, if this program is used in any scientific publications I would ask that you either cite it in the references or mention it (with my home page address at alumni.caltech.edu) in the acknowledgements.

-----------------------------
If you are reading this file you must have unpacked the tar archive somewhere. There are 2 parts to the distribution. NXplotNd.app is in Apps/. This may be installed in ~/Apps, /LocalApps or /NeXTApps. Then there are a set of .ndplot directories in Library/NXplotNd/ These directories must reside in ~/Library/NXplotNd, /LocalLibrary/NXplotNd or /NeXTLibrary/NXplotNd. These files are not accessed directly, but are loaded as needed by the main application. If you unpacked this archive from your home directory, everything should be in place for single user operation.

While this release should finally be fairly stable, I have made some changes since the last beta release, so there may still be a few bugs around. The primary difference between this version and previous versions is the lack of an expiration date. This version will work for as long as your machine is running a compatible version of NeXTStep.

PLEASE LOOK AT THE ON-LINE HELP! If you just dive right in and start playing, chances are about 90% that you will give up in frustration. The program is really quite easy to use, it just has a steep initial learning curve. Devote 30 minutes to learn what's going on and trying the examples and you (hopefully) won't be disappointed.

Please feel free to email me at my permanent address if you have any problems:
