SkyView ======= SkyView performs many of the functions of a planetarium. It allows you to see the appearance of the sky from any specified location on the earth. You can change the date and time for which the sky is displayed to see the sky as it looked in the past or as it will look in the future. SkyView displays the positions of the sun, moon, and all naked-eye planets, as well as all the stars down to a limiting magnitude you select. SkyView creates star displays for varying locations and calendars. Requires NEXTSTEP 3.x. Release Notes SkyView 1.1 April 1994 Improved date/time panel interface. Now includes increment/decrement buttons (and page up/down keys) and uses a circular slider. Also handles daylight-savings-time and days-per-month automatically. Improved defaults handling. Now saves window frame positions. Tightened parts of the geometry code to speed up screen redraw and avoid identical redraws. Changed defaults owner from CDISkyView to SkyView to be consistent with appkit defaults. --- NeXTMail:Peter_Kron@corona.com Corona Design, Inc. P.O. Box 51022 Seattle, WA 98115-1022
