This directory contains the Geomview manual and various other pieces
of documentation.

This directory contains TeX source code and GNU Emacs Info version of
the manual.  NOTE: the manual contains references to figure files
which are not included here (to keep the size of the distribution
down).  The figure files, as well as printer-ready PostScript and dvi
copies of the manual, are available separately via ftp from
geom.umn.edu in the file "manual.tar.Z" in the
"software/pub/geomview/pieces" directory.

geomview.tex:
	The TeX source for the manual.  This is a uses the GNU texinfo
	package.

texinfo.tex:
	The GNU texinfo package.

texinfmt.el:
	A customized version of the GNU Emacs "texinfmt.el" file which
	you need in order to generate the Info files from geomview.tex.

geomview,geomview-*
	The Info versions of the manual.  You can install these in
	your GNU Emacs info tree.

oogltour:
	A quick tour through the sorts of geometry which are supported
	by OOGL.

OOGL.m.doc:
	Documentation for the Mathematica-to-Geomview conversion
	packages.  This is excerpted from the manual.

4dview.tutorial:
	A tutorial for the 4dview external module.

newsletter_article:
	An article that appeared in an issue of the Geometry Center
	newsletter announcing the first release of Geomview, in
	January of 1991.
