History:

NeXThextris was first written during March and April 1994, at the request of a Hextris fan who wanted to play without using X Windows. After developing a healthy addiction to the game, I downloaded the source code for the X version of Hextris and wrote a NeXTstep I/O front end for the game. Although NeXTstep has a quite different style of control than X Windows, the port was not too difficult due to the high level of abstraction already present in the code.

Other useless NeXT applications available upon request include:
HomerApp, the ever-annoying sound-player-single-button-interface.
TechnoBabble, a recursive random grammar parser.
NeXTspim, a NeXT port of SPIM, the MIPS RS 2000 simulator by James Larus.
