**************************** BETA VERSION ********************************** Desktop Invasion is an arcade-like game based on concepts that have been around awhile. The player operates a projectile-firing playing piece at the bottom of the playing field, while various nasties try to destroy life as we know it. The file DesktopInvasion0.9.tar.Z contains the exectutable and a copy of this readme file. ( Source not included because I have a slow uplink. ) The uncompressed size of the game is about 130KB. It was compiled under NeXTStep 2.1, and I doubt that it will run on 1.0 systems. This program is free for all non-commercial uses.
