------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FONTAVERT is a tool for converting postscript-type-1-fonts from the PC-format into a format, which is usable for the NeXTstep operating system. For the conversion you need two files for every font: The pfb-file with the postscript data and the afm-file with additional informations like kerning, included chars, etc. FONTAVERT is shareware. It can be used for free for evaluation and for converting and installing up to 50 fonts. If you are using it regulary you should became a registered user by sending $40 to me. The registration includes support by letter or e-mail and one major update. Important note: This software is distributed without warranty of any kind! In no event shall I be held liable for any damages, including lost profits, lost data, or any special, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of this program. For the conversion of font data you will have to consider the license agreement of the appropriate producer/reseller of the font! Als Ausgangsdateien werden pro Zeichensatz zwei Dateien benötigt: Die pfb-Datei, in der die eigentlichen Rohdaten des Zeichensatzes stehen, sowie die afm-Datei, die Informationen öber den Zeichensatz, wie z. B. Kerning, enthaltene Zeichen u. Ù., för das Betriebssystem zu Verfögung stellt. FONTAVERT ist Shareware, kann zum Ausprobieren bzw. för die Konvertierung von bis zu 50 Schriften kostenfrei benutzt werden, bei daröber hinausgehender Verwendung wird eine Registrierung för DM 50,- fÙllig. Neben schriftlichem bzw. e-mail-Support erhÙlt ein registrierter Kunde auch ein kostenfreies Update bei Implementierung neuer Funktionen bzw. bei der …nderung des Betriebssystems. Wichtiger Hinweis: Ich öbernehme weder eine Garantie daför, daû das Programm mit jeder Konfiguration von Computern unter NeXTstep fehlerfrei lÙuft, noch för eventuelle SchÙden, die aus der Benutzung dieses Programmes mittelbar oder unmittelbar entstehen.
