You can choose from one of a list of predefined project templates (which are complete Project Builder projects, all ready to go) , add an icon, and save the template under a new name. The project templates supplied include windows, info panel in a separate .nib, a Controller object set up to be the delegate of NXApp, all the good menu items and so on. You can also set up and use your own project templates if you like. With QuickProject, you can get started on a new app in a matter of seconds, rather than the typical five-minute process of · launching IB · launching PB · adding the DBKit libraries to the project · adding the Oracle adaptor · getting rid of the lame Edit menu, putting in the real one; · adding a Controller object, unparsing it, making it NXApp's delegate and all those other mindless details, at least one of which you always forget. Please send me your thoughts on how you like this and any additional features you'd like to see. Perhaps Preferences settings that let you set up a Makefile.preamble?
