Release 1.2, Copyright ©1995 by Sean Luke. All Rights Reserved. MiscVolumeLight Inherits From: MiscVolumeMeter Declared In: MiscVolumeLight.h Class Description The MiscVolumeLight is a variant on the MiscVolumeMeter which changes its gray background color to reflect the amplitude of the sound. No volume bar or peak bubble is displayed, and the change only reflects mono sound. The result is an effect somewhat like Robby the Robot's mouth and eyes lighting up whenever he talked. MiscVolumeLight can be used effectively with MiscTapper to provide a small window of constant feedback to what the computer hears in its microphone. See the MiscVolumeMeter for more information. The MiscVolumeLight has the same bugs as the MiscVolumeMeter. Version Incompatibility: Versions later than 1.1 of the MiscVolumeLight's archiving format are incompatible with earlier versions. Method Types Displaying the light ± drawSelf: rects: Instance Methods drawSelf: - drawSelf:(const NXRect*)rects :(int)rectCount Draws the MiscVolumeLight based on current sound information.
