Obtaining a License

dbmAdaptor is distributed under a ShareWare Public License. Make sure you read and understand the contents of this License before proceeding any further. If you don't agree to the terms of this License then delete your dbmAdaptor copy immediately (see License below for more details).

You don't need to get a license right away in order to use dbmAdaptor. In fact there is a maximum 90 day trial period during which you may use dbmAdaptor to test it and see if it works the way you expect. The only caveat is that every time you run dbmAdaptor you get an annoying Registration Panel urging you to register, otherwise all functionality is fully enabled.

When it is time for you to register then fill out the fields in the Register Panel that pertain to you. Check how you want your password sent to you, and then hit the Register button. A registration form will then be outputted to an output device of your choice. Send that form to the address at the top and enclose payment for the correct amount. You will not receive your password unless you send the correct amount. Currently a license is 250 Swedish Crowns (250 SEK » $30). Send an International Money Order for the amount in Swedish Crowns. International Money Orders are available at most post offices around the world. Do not send cash!

Besides e-mail support and regular updates you will also help further this effort by licensing your copy. Since the registering fee is so rediculously small in comparison to what other DBKit Adaptors cost, even without the database, there can be no excuse for not registering.
