July 9, 1994 MailPictures is a simple utility app designed to assist in the management of the /LocalLibrary/Images/People image database. Features: ë accepts an alias through the services menu ë will collect aliases that are not correctly configured and allow the user to assign them to valid user names. ë create/delete password and alias file entries ë assign/change pictures using drag and drop paradigm. ë when saving the new data base, the old data files are backed up into a "/LocalLibrary/Images/People/.passwd-alias.backup" file. ë the inspector will display details about the currently selected user, or it can display a list of netinfo group aliases. ë Supports two document formats, one to encapsulate the photo and all the aliases for a given user, and one to hold complete copies of the passwd and alias data.
