Staccato Systems, inc. ("Staccato") grants to you a
non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, license to use SynthBuilder
for NEXTSTEP ("The Software"), free of charge, in binary
executable form for educational, evaluation or trial use
purposes only.
NOTE: Staccato SynthBuilder for NEXTSTEP
requires an authorization code to enable all its
features. To receive a free authorization code, please
see http://www.staccatosys.com
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY.
The software is provided 'AS IS' without express or implied
warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness
for a particular purpose or non-infringement. This software is
provided gratuitously and accordingly, Staccato shall not be
liable under any theory or any damages suffered by you or any
user of the software.
TITLE.
Title, ownership rights, and intellectual property rights in and
to the Software shall remain in Staccato. The Software is
protected by the copyright laws and treaties. You acknowledge
that the Software in source code form remains a confidential
trade secret of Staccato and therefore you agree not to modify
the Software or attempt to decipher, decompile, disassemble or
reverse engineer the Software, except to the extent applicable
laws specifically prohibit such restriction.
Title and related rights in the content accessed through the
Software is the property of the applicable content owner and may
be protected by applicable law. This License gives you no rights
to such content.
TERMINATION.
The license will terminate automatically if you fail to comply
with the limitations described herein. On termination, you must
destroy all copies of the Software and Documentation.
MISCELLANEOUS.
This Agreement shall be governed by California law (except for
conflict of law provisions). The application the United Nations
Convention of Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is
expressly excluded.
