This program enables you to transmit and receive MIDI System Exclusive (SysEx)
data to/from MIDI equipment attached to your NeXT computer.

You must have a MIDI interface and MIDI equipment capable of:

1) initiating a System Exclusive Bulk Dump
2) receiving System Exclusive Bulk Dump

To download SysEx data from your MIDI equipment:

o Press the Receive button
o Start the Bulk Dump from your MIDI gear
o Enter the file name in the Save Panel

To upload SysEx data to your MIDI equipment:

o Press the Transmit button
o Select a file from the Open Panel

The file extension sysex is used by this program. Double-clicking on a file
with the sysex extension will launch SysX and transmit that file.
Double-clicking on successive sysex files will transmit them.

NOTE: SysX may not work with MIDI equipment that transmits bulk-dump data at
higher than normal rates. This is due to a known bug in the 2.x Midi Driver.
Check the console for buffer overflow messages to see if this is happening on
your system.

This program is being distributed as "freeware". You may freely distribute
unmodified versions of this program.
