What is Make_it ?

Make_it is the definite tool for compiling on NeXT, especially when porting and installing unix-software.

Make_it solves the deficiencies ProjectBuilder has. It can be used with a variety of unix-tools, compilers etc. :

Use another compiler, like gcc, g++
Use grep instead of a compiler
   	Switch quickly between different directories
   	Use different Makefiles
Allow sub-makes and recurse into subdirectories
Use GNU-Make instead of NeXT's make
Customize to include your own commands

Make_it runs on NS3.0. It contains NeXTSTEP Help. Check it out and you'll
like it !
