"Unix: The Year in Review and Beyond" Some of the leading editors and analysts in the industry are panelists: Dan Ruby, Editor, NeXTWorld David Flack, Executive Editor, UnixWorld Roger Strukhoff, Publisher, SunWorld Ricki Kirzner, Senior Industry Analyst, Dataquest The format for the evening will be a real Comdex style panel discussion. The moderator, Rich Mirabella, will ask the panel to answer seven or eight questions that have developed in advance. Then - these folks are all yours. So come with good holiday cheer and plenty of ammunition! As always, the Unix SIG will be 6:45 - 9:00 pm at Digital Equipment Corporation 800 West El Camino Real 4th Floor Yosemite Conference Room Mountain View, CA. Free Refreshments and Product Demonstrations 6:45 - 7:15. Free Parking in the DEC underground garage. The Software Entrepreneurs' Forum is a seven year old Silicon Valley based organization with over 700 members. SEF was founded by a group of software entrepreneurs to provide skills for developing, marketing, and selling soft- ware through a network of support groups. In addition to the monthly dinner meeting, SEF sponsors special interest groups in Unix, Marketing, Networking, Macintosh, DOS, Windows, Multimedia, Expert Systems, and Pen Software.
