Hobbs) Subject: View instances Greetings, I'm interested in learning how to tie outlets from a view to other objects identified in Interface Builder, without actually dragging a custom view to a window and making it that type of view. The program I'm trying to write basically allocs images, views and windows as they are needed, but I also want to be able to read stuff about the image (bits per pixel, for example) on a mouseDown method. Since the image is alloc'd only in code, however, I can't drag a connection from it to the bits per pixel field in Interface Builder as I'd like to. I know that this is probably an easy question to answer, one way or the other, but I can't seem to figure it out. Maybe I should go back to Developer's camp or something, but for now, I'd appreciate some help.
