We are using the Extron RGB 118 interface with the Extron MBC Sparc Buffer for connecting a NeXTstation color to a SONY 1270 video projector system. The Extron stuff works fine, but I was not crazy about the convergence from the Sony. We used a Electrohome projector in the past with better results. The Sony may be able to do better with a better screen. The RGB 118 uses red/green/blue/sync BNC outputs which can be used with any high frequency projector/monitor. We had some problems with the Extron MBC Sparc Buffer at first, but those have been worked out (finally). The only complaint that I have with Extron now is the connector used on the cable connecting to the NeXTstation color CPU. They used a SU13W3 connector with a DB25 cover that I had to remove inorder to connect to the NeXTstation. They had told me that they will start using molded cables instead, as soon as they can find a someone to supply them. The MBC Sparc Buffer input connects to the CPU, and has two outputs, one for the RGB interface, and another to the local monitor/sound box cable. If you have more questions, just let me know, but I am not an A/V type.
