Several months ago someone posted a note saying that, while neither Sony nor NeXT will sell us a bare mechanism (without costly SCSI interface) to go with the otherwise useless driver on my motherboard, Toshiba has a part with the same connector that sells for $200. Back then I only had an '030, so I didn't store the source or the part number. Does anyone know the part number and where to buy the Toshiba 2.88Mb floppy drive? And if so, has anyone actually bought one and gotten it to work (or know that it won't work?) Thanks Dirk Karis karis@psych.rochester.edu
