I was wondering what experiences people have had doing this for the NeXT. I would prefer a relational database package (usually expensive) but am keeping my mind open. This project would be for people who are used to the DOS based db packages, so I'd like to offer at least that level of functionality (hopefully more) on the NeXT. I'm familiar with DB2, SQL, C and (sllightly) Objective-C. With that in mind, here are some questions concerning Oracle, Sybase, Dataphile or other db systems: 1) How difficult is it to set up the database definitions? 2) How difficult is it to handle queries? 3) Is it much of a pain to set up a GUI environment for viewing and entering data? 4) Do you have any pet-peeves or annoyances with a package? Please e-mail any comments, random or otherwise ;) I'll summarize.
