The computer department recentley switched over to the NeXT Workstation replacing the VAX's already in use. I used Xloadimage to load a bitmap file in the background. Is there a program that will do this on the NeXT? Also, I want to convert Mac sound files to NeXT sound file format. I have checked a few ftp sites but I haven't a clue to the title of the program. Can someone tell me the title of the file and the ftp site. Thanx..

Under the Effects/Preferences menu check the "keep background upon exiting" box. Have fun! The only warning I have is that the background will remain in effect after you logout, so beware with XXX .tiff files! :--)
