There was a bug in the original version that I haven't fixed but I put a check in to prevent it from crashing(I hope). -Mike

There was a bug in the original version that I haven't fixed but I put a check in to prevent it from crashing(I hope). Thanks a lot for the new Tetris. I've lost countless high scores because of this bug (I assume that is the one you fixed, as I've never observed any other). However, the version which was posted to comp.sys.next does not work as posted. This Tetris relies on the existance of the files Block[1234].tiff in its current working directory. This means that if you simply copy Tetris to your /LocalApps it will fail to display the pieces as they fall down which makes playing Tetris somewhat harder. Fortunately this can easily be fixed. Just create a directory Tetris.app, put Tetris, Block[1-4].tiff and .TetrisScores in this directory and move this directory to /LocalApps. The resulting Tetris can be started by simply doubleclicking the Tetris.app directory and will work correctly. Overall, I believe this is the preferable solution anyway. If NeXT provides us with an easy and effective method of keeping files belonging to one application together, why not use it instead of having your .TetrisScore file lying around in the LocalApps directory where it really doesn't belong. When you remake the app, the tiffs are included in the executable as a mach-o segment. I touched all the implementation files to ensure a fairly complete make. Worked for me...

I also noticed this problem with an anagram program from the archives. Tracy
