We all seem to know and love BackSpace, as it is the greatest screensaver since one could throw wonder bread and have it stick to the screen. Especialy since people are writing modules for it (unlike After Dark ect on the mac on which the only modules come with the thing or cost extra.) but there are still a few great screensavers that I would like to see... 1. A fishtank. Every screensaver has to have one. 2. A flying generic animated bitmap (using icon to make them...) 3. LUNATIC FRINGE!!!! (Or the equivelent....) Thanks. Nicholas C. Weaver ps. If people send me their requests for most wanted screensavers, I will post those in a week or two.... p.p.s Does Steve Jobs know about Backspace?? <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<Nicholas C. (Or the equivelent....) > No can do-- if I remember that paticular 'saver on the mac, it uses Color-LookUpTable animation. Can't do that on a NeXT-- it doesn't have CLUT's (bummer). If you could get at the RAMDAC directly and modify it's conversion table; it would be a different matter-- but I don't even know if that is possible (and is guaranteed to be difficult). Anyway, back to the realm of possibility, you CAN do some really cool color flows and moving colors-- some of the FooFaraw stuff will do that w/the mouse in the right spot. And MovingPolygons is cool (BTW: Yes, I did receive, no I haven't posted, yes, it will be soon... nice sentence, huh?). b.bum b.bumgarner | Disclaimer: All opinions expressed are my own. wb1j+@andrew.cmu.edu | I officially don't represent anyone unless I NeXT Campus Consultant | explicity say I am doing so. GlobeSaver will let you display any .anim file generated by Icon. You select the animation file using a dwrite described in the documentation.

These are nice, too, but it also needs to be able to mix and match screen savers. There are some which do this, you know, where you can edit together two of your favorite savers on the screen at once. (For instance, have a fish tank swimming over a field of stars. Can someone add this to BackSpace itself? Just wondering.
