I am not associated with BMUG. ----- BMUG, Inc. is presenting its first ... =================================== GUI [Graphical User Interface] Fest =================================== on Thursday, November 14 Exhibits and seminars by vendors and BMUG ASUC Student Union, Pauley Ballroom 10:00 am - 6:30 pm Multimedia presentations by MacroMind and Apple Physical Sciences Lecture Hall Beginning at 6:30 pm According to BMUG's poster announcing this event: "Major vendors like Apple, Microsoft, Aldus and Adobe will be showing off their latest Mac and DOS [primarily Windows] software, along with many other Graphical User Interface companies such as NeXT & Silicon Graphics." "Demonstrations and seminars [will be held] throughout the day." (See below for a schedule.) "QuickTime multimedia from Apple [will be presented by] the evening's highlighted speaker." According to the BMUG poster, this will represent the world premiere of QuickTime, Apple's system software extensions that provide support for integrating synchronized, compressed video and sound into Macintosh applications.
