I am not exactly sure how he did it, but it worked. Apparently he cut the cable & soldered a new one on. He also split it so he could still hook it up to the Nintendo. He'll be back in about a week, so you can ask him. However, I think he got the instructions on how to do this off of the net, so someone else out there probably knows how to do this. Oh yeah, if there is no one left who knows how to do this, Dave's (my roommate) address is blumoose@bard.mit.edu.
