I just thought i'd post my story so someone else can maybe benefit from it. I dealt with Cavalier Computers in Charlottsville, Virginia. I called them a couple months ago and said I wanted a NeXTStation 105. They didn't have any but were getting some in 2-3 weeks (about 6 weeks earlier than other places that sell them with student discounts (for example University of Maryland)). I ordered one and the guy (his name is David Pierce) sent me an invoice. I sent him back a photocopy of my Student ID and a check for $3422.39 for a NeXTStation 105 mono and a SCSI2-SCSI1 cable. About 3 days later he called me back and told me he was getting the machines in about 2 weeks. About 10 days later he called me again to tell me the machine had arrived. He offered to ship it COD (he said it'd be about $20-30) but I drove down and picked it up myself. Anyhow I don't have any affiliation with Cavalier Computers besides being a satisfied customer, but I thought the whole deal was quick & easy considering all the horror stories i've heard from other people.
