I rebooted, formatted on a mac, formatted on an Ibm but nothing works. It just will not recognize anything. I guess I just erased a file or something. Beats me. I have another problem. How do I save a postscript file to disk so I can print it later to a laserwriter. (old old laserwriter.) I have tried using just save in the print dialog, save as in preview. I think the problem is I need to save it in eps rather than ps format. I was told that would print. Any suggestions? Thanks, Eran Shtiegman s

If your floppy is a 720K (no extra hole), and you're formatting it as a 1.44 floppy on an IBM, then the NeXT won't recognize it. Most IBM- compatible drives don't sense the floppy type by looking for the hole. NeXT's drive does.

Does anyone know what files the workspace uses to recognize IBM floppies. If someone could send me a list of possible files maybe I can compare them to mine or see if I have them all. Eran
