This is I-need-a-UUCP-feed... in view mode; [Up]
Date: Sun 11-Jun-1991 20:53:33 From: bard@jessica.stanford.edu (David Hopper) Subject: I need a UUCP feed... Hi, ho. Forgive me if this post is at all a bit loopy; I haven't slept in 52 (yes, straight) hours. Damned finals! ;-) I'm taking ol' Tiamat back home with me, and I need to hook her up as a UUCP node. Who do I contact about getting one of these? This is a novice question, inasmuch as a pointer to the correct newsgroup would be considered terrific advice, as well as info from any UUCP gurus out there that could give me some background on just how UUCP is implemented in a practical way (the man page isn't too helpful). Home is Caldwell, ID; 'bout 20 miles out of Boise. I need to establish myself as a remote system-support e-mail site for the Stanford NeXT community--your help will be greatly appreciated by all those involved. ;-) Thanx much, and take care, Dave Hopper |MUYOM!/// Anthro Creep | NeXT Campus Consultant at Stanford | __ /// . . | Smackintosh/UNIX Consultant - AIR bard@jessica. | \\\/// Ia!
