This is OD-out-of-alignment? in view mode; [Up]

After several more tries and cleaning the OD lens (yikes!), I am relatively sure of a few things: 1. An old 1.0a disk almost boots up. Lots of read and write re-spins, but I can manage to get the Workspace up and look at the console. 2. The 2.0 disks no longer give 'odintr 2' message. They do not respin, however, and just shut down. My impression is the the OD head cannot stay in alignment or something. Has anyone had similar problems? Any idea what NeXT's policy is for 'barely out of warranty' OD's? I was hoping to get more feedback before contacting them.
