I have recently acquired an 030 NeXTCube with an OD, but are awaiting the 040 upgrade. I have the Cube at home and would like to connect to my account at the University. Both 2400 and 9600 lines are available. The question is if anybody has considered the pro's/con's of buying a fax modem vs. a (faster) data-only modem? Are there fax modems available that can be used as at 9600? (I consider the `fax' facility more a convenience than a necessity.) Ferdi
